HYPE Rich List: How Much HYPE Puts You in the Top 10%?

10 HYPE made the top 10% of Hypurrscan addresses on Oct 30, 2026, per the video's count. Here is why the team and other big staked holders are off the list.

Video: HYPE Rich List: How Much HYPE Puts You in the Top 10%?

Key takeaways

  • According to the video's count, 10 HYPE put an address in the top 10% of the 265,445 addresses on Hypurrscan's HYPE holder list on October 30, 2026.
  • The video says the holder list adds up to only 129.2 million HYPE, while Hyperliquid's own record shows 301.9 million circulating, because staked HYPE does not appear on the list.
  • According to the video, the HyperLabs address has 238 million HYPE staked, and its history shows 15 withdrawals from staking totalling 10.6 million HYPE since June 2, 2025. Only one batch, 3.75 million HYPE, has been reported as a sale.
  • The video identifies the two largest addresses on the list as a bridge (HyperEVM) and a buyback fund (the Assistance Fund), not individual whales.
  • Before trusting any rich list, check whether it counts staking, whether the top addresses are people, and what each address's history shows.

On October 30, 2026, 10 HYPE was enough to put an address in the top 10% of Hyperliquid’s HYPE rich list, according to the video’s count of all 265,445 addresses on the Hypurrscan explorer. The video also shows that the list leaves out most of the supply, because the largest holders, including the Hyperliquid team, are staked.

If you hold HYPE, or have been told it is the next big coin, a rich list (a ranking of wallet addresses by balance) looks like a simple way to see where you stand. The video, hosted by Ryan Huggins, shows that the ranking answers a narrower question than most people think. It also shows how to check what the list leaves out.

How much HYPE puts you in the top 10%?

According to the video, 10 HYPE put an address in the top 10% of HYPE holders on October 30, 2026. That was about $925 at $92.50 per HYPE. The video ranks every address on Hypurrscan, a public explorer for Hyperliquid, at that price. Here is the ladder it reports:

Rank on the list HYPE needed Approximate value at $92.50
Top 10% 10 HYPE $925
Top 1% 909.5 HYPE $84,000
Top 0.1% (1 in 1,000) 14,400 HYPE $1.3 million
1 million HYPE or more 3 addresses on the whole list n/a

At the other end, the video says the middle address on the list holds 0.009 HYPE, less than a dollar. That gap explains why 10 HYPE ranks so high, as covered below. Bullrunners has run the same exercise for the XRP rich list and the Solana rich list.

Why the HYPE rich list is missing most of the coins

According to the video, the HYPE holder list on Hypurrscan adds up to only 129.2 million HYPE, while Hyperliquid’s own token record shows 301.9 million circulating. The video puts the difference down to staking. When you stake HYPE, you lock it with a validator (a computer that helps run the network) to earn rewards. It then stops showing up as a balance on the holder list.

The video says 442 million HYPE was staked across 35 validators on October 30. That is more than three times everything on the rich list. Because the staked figure is larger than the circulating figure, some staked HYPE must not be counted as circulating at all. The video’s conclusion is that the biggest holders are not on the rich list. They are on the staking page.

Who is the biggest HYPE holder?

According to the video, the biggest HYPE holder is HyperLabs, the company that builds Hyperliquid, with 238 million HYPE staked. The video says the HyperLabs address received exactly 238 million HYPE on launch day, November 29, 2024. It also says Hyperliquid’s own record still counts about 238 million there as not circulating.

Hyperliquid is known for never taking money from venture capital (VC) firms, which invest in startups early in exchange for a stake. The video plays a clip of co-founder Jeff Yan, which it says was recorded about three weeks before launch. In it, he says VCs owning a large early share would be “forever a bit of a scar on the network.” The video accepts that there were no VCs. It adds that the team’s slice alone is bigger than everything on the rich list combined. Bullrunners covers the background in how Hyperliquid launched with no outside investors.

Has the Hyperliquid team moved any HYPE?

Yes. According to the video, the HyperLabs address history shows 15 withdrawals from staking since June 2, 2025, totalling 10.6 million HYPE, even though its staked balance still reads about 238 million. Only one of those withdrawals has been reported as a sale. The largest, 3.75 million HYPE on October 7, 2026, was worth about $330 million. Reports say it went in a private sale to a buyer who has not been named. A withdrawal from staking does not by itself show that HYPE was sold, and the video does not say what happened to the rest. Bullrunners looked at that deal, an over-the-counter (OTC) trade arranged privately rather than on an exchange, in the team’s $330 million HYPE sale.

So why does the balance barely move? The video says the same address has earned 9.7 million HYPE in staking rewards, which have largely refilled the gap. It also notes that another withdrawal started on October 28, 2026. The point is that the balance suggests nothing happened, while the history shows a steady flow out of staking.

Who are the top two addresses on the list?

According to the video, the two largest addresses on the HYPE rich list are not people. Together they hold about 101 million of the 129.2 million HYPE on the list.

  1. HyperEVM (52.9 million HYPE). This is a system address. When users move HYPE to Hyperliquid’s second chain, where apps run, the HYPE sits here. It is thousands of people’s coins in one box.
  2. The Assistance Fund (48.4 million HYPE). This is the pot that takes trading fees and uses them to buy HYPE. The video says Hyperliquid’s own token record counts it as not circulating.

The video says the largest address on the list that looks like a single holder has about 1.06 million HYPE.

Why does 10 HYPE rank so high?

Ten HYPE ranks high because, according to the video, the bottom of the list is full of tiny leftover balances from the launch-day airdrop, a free handout of tokens to early users. On November 29, 2024, about 94,000 addresses received HYPE. The video says the middle recipient got 65 HYPE. It adds that by October 30, 2026, 81,577 of those launch addresses held less than a hundredth of a HYPE.

Some sold, some staked and some moved their HYPE to another chain. The list cannot tell you which. It also counts addresses, not people. One person can run 10 addresses, and one exchange can hold coins for millions of customers in a single address. “Top 10%” means the top 10% of addresses. Many of the addresses below that line hold dust, crypto slang for balances too small to matter.

The other large holders off the list

The video names two more large holders whose HYPE is staked and therefore missing from the rich list:

  • The Hyper Foundation, which supports the network. The video says it received 60 million HYPE at launch and had 60.6 million staked on October 30, 2026.
  • Hyperliquid Strategies, which trades on Nasdaq as PURR. Its own filing calls it “the largest HYPE-focused digital asset treasury vehicle.” That means a public company that holds a crypto token as its main asset. In an interview the video dates to June, CEO David Schamis said the company held about 26 million HYPE, a little over 10% of circulating supply at the time. In October 2026 the company reported 38.83 million HYPE. The video says a validator named for the company had 38.85 million staked to it on October 30, and that the on-chain number and the company’s number line up. It puts the holding at about 13% of circulating HYPE.

How to read any HYPE rich list

The video closes with three checks to run before believing any HYPE rich list:

  1. Is it staked? If the list does not count staking, the video says it is missing more than half of the coins and all of the biggest holders.
  2. Is it a person? The top two addresses are a bridge and a fund. Check the label before calling an address a whale, the term for a single large holder.
  3. Read the history, not the balance. The team’s balance says 238 million. Its history, according to the video, says 10.6 million out.

The same checks apply to rich lists for other coins, where exchange and system addresses often sit near the top.

What to watch next

The video’s answer to “how many HYPE to retire a millionaire” is that nobody can say. What the data does show, according to the video, is that the largest holders are either off the list or not counted as circulating. Those holders are the team, the foundation, the buyback fund and a public company. Holders who want to follow this can watch three things: the HyperLabs address history for further withdrawals, the total staked on Hyperliquid’s staking page, and Hyperliquid Strategies’ filings for changes to its HYPE count.

as its token went from $2 to $60 in less than a year. Zero VC and only 10 team members. That's right. Today we're talking Hyperlquid. And by the end of this video, you will [music] know exactly how many Hype tokens you need to hold today to potentially retire as a millionaire.

Everybody asks that one. Here's a different question. How much Hype puts you ahead of 90% of everyone holding it? 10. On October 30th of 2026, 10 Hype put an address in the top 10% of Hyperliquid's rich list or about $925.

But the biggest holder of Hype isn't even on that list. And its wallet looks like it never sold a coin, even though the ledger shows 10.6 million Hype going out. If you hold Hype or you've been told it's the next big one, this is where you actually stand. By the end of this, you'll see three things. where you rank, who's above you, and why the list itself leaves out the biggest names. So, let's run it. All right, bull runners. I'm Ryan Huggin aka Winwith Ryan. Welcome back to the channel. Start with the list.

Hyperscan is a public explorer for Hyperlid and on October 30th, 2026, it showed 265,445 addresses holding hype. I took every one of them and ranked them at $92.50 per hype. Here's the ladder. Top 10% 10 hype, which is only about $925 right now. Top 1% is $99.5 hype, which is about $84,000.

The top one in a thousand is $14,400 hype or about $1.3 million. And a million hype or more, three addresses on the whole entire list. So, if you have $1,000 of hype, you're already in the top 10%. And that sounds great. But before you celebrate, add the list up because it's missing something big.

Here's the number that made me go back and check. That whole list adds up to 129.2 million hype. Hyperliquid's own record says 301.9 million are circulating. So where's the rest staked? When you stake Hype, you lock it with a validator to earn rewards and it stops showing up as a balance on the list.

On October 30th, 442 million hype was staked across 35 validators. That's more than every hype on the rich list three times over. Therefore, the biggest holders aren't on the rich list at all. They're on the staking page. And the biggest one is the team.

One address labeled Hyperlabs has 238 million hype staked. That's the company that builds Hyperlid. On launch day, November 29th, 2024, it got exactly 238 million. Hyperlid's own record still counts about 238 million there as not circulating. Now, Hyperlid is proud that it never took money from investors.

Here's its co-founder 3 weeks before launch. So if a bunch of VCs come and let's say they own 50% of the network got in super early, I do think that is forever a bit of a scar on the network itself.

No VCs. That's true. But the team slice alone is bigger than everything on the rich list put together. But 238 million sitting still isn't the whole story. Here's the part a rich list can't show you.

That balance looks like it never moved. But the address keeps its own history. Since June 2nd, 2025, it has made 15 withdrawals, 10.6 million hype out. The biggest was 3.75 million on October 7th, 2026. About $330 million, which reports say went in a private sale to a buyer that nobody has named.

So, why does it still say 238 million? Because staking pays. The same address has earned 9.7 million hype in rewards. The rewards refilled the hole. Reading the wallet's history instead of its balance is exactly the check that we run with people and clients inside of SGS at Altcoin Pro on whatever they hold.

Every month that stays unread, another few hundred,000 hype has been leaving that one address while its balance says nothing happened. So, the first link in the description is there. Get it looked at this week and there's a new one already on October 28th. It started another withdrawal 179,76 hype. So, that's the biggest holder off the list, but the list itself has a surprise at the top two.

Number one on the list holds 52.9 million hype. Number two holds 48.4 million. Together, that's 101 million out of 129 million on the whole list. But neither one is a person. Number one is labeled Hyper EVM.

It's a system address. When you move Hype over to Hyperlid's second chain, the one where apps run, the hype sits here. It's thousands of people's coins in one box. Number two is labeled assistance fund, and that's the pot that takes the trading fees and uses them to buy more hype. I did a whole video on it.

Hyperlid's own token record counts it as not circulating. So, the two richest wallets on the Hype Rich list are a bridge and a buyback fund. The biggest one that looks like a single holder has about 1.06 million. So that's the top. Now the bottom because it explains why 10 hype ranks so high.

The middle address on the whole list 0.009 hype which is less than a dollar. That's because on launch day on November 29th, 2024, about 94,000 addresses got hype handed to them at launch via airdrop. The middle one got 65 hype. On October 30th, 81,577 of those launch addresses show less than a hundredth of a hype on the list. Some sold, some staked, some moved it to another chain, and the list can't tell you which.

And one person can run 10 addresses. One exchange can hold coins for millions of people in just one. So, the top 10 means the top 10% of addresses, not people. But that's still the number that people will quote at you for the top 10 hype. Two more big holders sit off the list.

The Hyper Foundation, which supports the network, got 60 million hype at launch. And on October 30th, it had 60.6 million staked. And then there's the company that buys hype for a living. Hyperliquid Strategies trades on NASDAQ as per PUR. Its own filing calls it the largest hype focused digital asset treasury vehicle.

Here's its CEO in June.

We're at 26 or something million tokens right now. Yeah. Uh, and the circulating supply is 200 or so million. So, we're actually about like 10% of the of the circulating supply, a little more.

26 million in June. On October 22nd, the company reported 38.83 million. And the validator named Hyperliquid Strategies XUnit has 38.85 million staked to it on October 30th. The onchain number and the company's number line up. That's about 13% of all circulating hype in one public company.

And it's staked, too. So, it's not on the rich list either. So, most people watching this video have probably never even heard of hype, but it's the one of the most hyped tokens over the last 12 months and it's only going to continue to grow in my personal opinion. And per if you're looking for an alternative to not use crypto and get into stocks is definitely an option. Not as an options to buy options, but you might want to try options, but you know what I mean.

So, is 10 hype really the top 10% on the list? Yes, it truly is. But here's how to read any hype rich list before you believe it. One, is it staked? If the list doesn't count staking, it's missing more than half of the coins and all of the biggest holders.

Two, is it a person? The top two are a bridge and a fund. So, check the label before you call it a whale. Three, read the history, not the balance. The team's balance says 238 million.

Its history says 10.6 million out. I know what you're probably thinking. Ryan, I don't care who's at the top. I just want to know if my bag is big. And that's fair.

If you hold 10 hype, you're ahead of nine out of 10 addresses, but most of those nine are just dust from launch day. And the big pile sit with the team, the foundation, the fund, and one NASDAQ company. And also, as far as a bag being big, it's all relative to what your personal thesis is when it comes to crypto. So, let's go back to the question from the start. How many hype to retire a millionaire?

And nobody can tell you that. But here's what the list does tell you. On October 30th, 2026, 10 hype is the top 10%. And the biggest holders of hype, the team, the foundation, the buyback fund, and the public company are either off of the list or not counted as circulating at all. 10 hype puts you in the top 10% of the rich list.

The biggest holders isn't on it, and its balance hides 10.6 million hype that are already left. So, tell me in the comment section, are you above or below 10 Hype tokens? Just above or below. Everything in this video came off the Hyperlids own ledger, a holder list, a staking page, and one address's history that anyone can pull. The balance said 238 million.

The history said 10.6 million out. And that's the work reading what a position really is, not what a list says it is. And that is what we do inside of the SGS system at Altcoin Pro. It is for it's designed for you if you have $50,000 or more in crypto and no one's ever walked you through how it all works. And if you're not there yet, totally fine.
