Can XDC Reach $1? The Brazil Deal and the $828M Tracker Gap

XDC's Brazil partner LiQI reports $835 million tokenized on the network, but the video says RWA.xyz shows about $7 million. What the gap means for $1 XDC talk.

Video: Can XDC Reach $1? The Brazil Deal and the $828M Tracker Gap

Key takeaways

  • LiQI, a Brazilian fintech, says about $835 million has been tokenized on XDC. The video says the RWA.xyz tracker showed only about $6.8 million on the network at the time of recording.
  • According to the video, the $835 million counts every token ever issued, including loans that may already be repaid, and most of the Brazil deal tokens don't show up on the tracker.
  • A $1 XDC would mean a network worth about $20 billion on circulating supply, or close to $38 billion counting all of the roughly 38 billion XDC that exist.
  • Taurus and MoneyGram becoming validators means they help run the network. It does not mean banks or MoneyGram are moving money on XDC.
  • The video names three signals to watch: LiQI deals settling in XDC itself, a leveraged XDC fund actually launching, and Contour's banks running real letters of credit on the network.

XDC, the coin of the XDC Network, traded around 3 cents when this Bullrunners video was recorded, while social media talk pointed to $1. The video finds the Brazil tokenization deal behind the excitement is real. But it says LiQI’s reported $835 million on XDC compares with only about $7 million visible on the RWA.xyz tracker.

That gap matters for holders because it shows whether network activity turns into demand for the coin. A network can carry large amounts of value while its own token barely gets touched. The video argues that is largely what is happening with XDC today.

What happened with XDC in October 2026?

XDC had two widely shared headlines in October 2026, and its price rose and then fell back. XDC’s Brazilian partner, LiQI, hit its first $500 million target about nine months early and raised the goal to $2 billion. XDC rose about 11% on October 9 before dropping back. CoinMarketCap linked the rise to the LiQI expansion news. Robinhood then listed XDC for its US users on October 14 and 15.

The video groups the Robinhood listing with the price jump, but the listing came several days after it.

The Brazil news itself wasn’t new. The video says it was announced on September 9, a month before the jump. It went viral again only when XDC’s own monthly update led with it the morning before the move.

The video also says one crypto outlet reported that Robinhood was paid integration fees to support XDC. According to the video, that doesn’t make the listing fake. It is still worth remembering when someone calls the listing proof of demand.

What is the LiQI deal in Brazil?

LiQI is a Brazilian fintech that turns loans into tokens. In April 2025 it agreed to put $500 million of real world assets on XDC within 24 months, and it got there in about 15 months.

The video describes the assets as ordinary Brazilian credit:

  • company invoices waiting to be paid
  • payroll loans repaid straight out of a worker’s salary
  • corporate bonds

Issuers named in the video include Banco BV and Banco ABC Brasil. The video compares the setup to a payday advance for a business. A company owed money in 90 days sells that IOU today for slightly less cash, and the token is the receipt showing who owns it now.

LiQI says about $835 million has now been tokenized on XDC across 386 separate issues. The two companies renewed the deal for two more years and moved the target to $2 billion by 2028. Counting from the $835 million already issued, roughly $1.2 billion is still to come. Some coverage counts the renewal differently, as another $1.5 billion on top of the original $500 million target.

Brazil’s regulator is also active. The securities regulator, the CVM, set up a working group in July on how blockchain securities are registered, held and settled. XDC says it is involved in the CVM’s tokenization pilot. The video points out that once a regulator writes rules, a pilot can become a real business.

What explains the $828 million gap?

The $828 million gap is the difference between LiQI’s $835 million figure and the roughly $6.8 million that RWA.xyz shows on XDC. The video describes RWA.xyz as the tracker most of the industry uses to count tokenized assets. It says that at the time of recording, RWA.xyz showed XDC with about $6.8 million across just two holders and no movement in the previous 30 days.

The video gives two explanations. First, it says the $835 million counts every token ever issued, including loans that may already be paid back. Second, it cites a January report from InfoMoney, a Brazilian financial news site, saying LiQI had launched its own stablecoin tied to the Brazilian real that can also run on XDC. The video says LiQI built that digital real to pay out deals like these, and that most of the Brazil deal tokens don’t show up on the tracker.

The video’s summary is that the Brazil money is real and does touch XDC’s main network. But each transaction on XDC costs a tiny fraction of a cent, so heavy use of the network does not have to mean heavy demand for the coin. Bullrunners has covered the same question for other projects in whether bank money ever reaches the token.

Do banks, MoneyGram and Swift really use XDC?

Not in the way many social media posts suggest, according to the video. Several headlines describe real events that were stretched:

Headline claim What happened
Major banks joined XDC Taurus, a Swiss firm that builds custody tech for banks, became a validator. The banks are Taurus’s clients, and the video says none have said they use XDC.
MoneyGram uses XDC MoneyGram announced on October 19 that it had become a validator, which means staking some XDC to help run the network. It also became a Solana validator in June, and the video says it has done similar things on other networks.
Swift integrated XDC Contour, the trade platform XDC owns, hosted a breakfast at Sibos, Swift’s yearly conference. The video says no Swift integration exists.
Leveraged XDC fund is coming The video says a 2x leveraged XDC fund was filed in January and cleared SEC paperwork in April, but had not launched six months later.

The video points out that being a validator does not mean MoneyGram moves money on XDC. MoneyGram previously worked with Ripple, a history covered in how the Ripple and MoneyGram deal worked.

What is XDC built for?

XDC’s pitch is carrying the paperwork of global trade, not the payment itself. Take a Brazilian coffee exporter shipping beans to a European roaster. There is an invoice, and usually a letter of credit, which is a bank’s promise to pay the seller once documents show the goods shipped. The video likens it to an online marketplace holding your money until the package arrives. Much of this paperwork still moves as PDFs and couriers.

The video cites the Asian Development Bank’s estimate of a $2.5 trillion gap between the trade finance businesses request and what banks approve. The video also notes that bank-backed blockchains that tried to fix this, we.trade and Marco Polo, collapsed in 2022 and 2023.

In theory, one shipment could use XDC for the documents and a payment network like XRP for the money. The video says nobody has shown that working at scale. For background on the network, see XDC Network explained.

What happened to Contour?

Contour is a letter of credit network. It launched in 2020 backed by a group of trade banks, including HSBC, Standard Chartered, Citi and BNP Paribas. It ran out of money and shut down in 2023. A technology firm called Xalts bought and revived it in early 2024. XDC’s investment arm then bought Contour in October 2025, about a year before the video. According to the video, XDC’s own co-founder said most of Contour’s 30-plus bank agreements are no longer active, with only a few, such as DBS, still live.

Does the ISO 20022 label help XDC?

The ISO 20022 label can get XDC in the door but doesn’t make anyone buy the coin, according to the video. ISO 20022 is the shared messaging format banks use to describe payments, and banks did move to it. The video says XDC’s documentation describes the network as compatible and able to translate a handful of those messages. But nobody keeps an official list of approved coins, as Bullrunners explained in the myth of ISO 20022 compliant coins.

What would $1 XDC require?

The video treats $1 as a community target, not a forecast, and runs the math:

  1. XDC traded around 3 cents at recording, so $1 is roughly 30 times higher.
  2. The video puts the all-time high at about 19 cents in August 2021, so returning there alone would be about a 6x.
  3. About 20 billion XDC is counted as circulating. On that figure, $1 means a network worth about $20 billion, which the video says is close to a quarter of XRP’s circulating value. The video notes that CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap don’t agree on the circulating figure.
  4. Counting all of the roughly 38 billion XDC that exist, $1 means close to $38 billion.

According to the video, the network set a record of about 41 million transactions in September, up from about 27.7 million in July. October was on pace to beat that, and the network has passed 1 billion transactions since launch. But at a fraction of a cent each, even a record month barely requires anyone to buy the coin. A tokenized invoice on XDC isn’t XDC; it just rides on the network. The video concludes that XDC is currently a demand bet, not a usage bet.

How the video suggests approaching a coin like XDC

The video lays out a general framework rather than a buy or sell call. It is commentary, not advice for any individual. The video suggests:

  • Comparing headline figures with an independent dashboard, such as an $835 million claim next to a $7 million tracker reading.
  • Not reading a low price per coin as a sign of value. The video calls that psychology.
  • Keeping any speculative coin to a small position, sized before buying, alongside coins in other narratives.
  • Avoiding putting everything into one narrative or one coin and waiting.
  • Writing down an exit plan before entering.

What to watch next

The video names three developments that would give the XDC coin a reason to be bought:

  1. LiQI deals starting to settle in XDC itself.
  2. The leveraged XDC fund actually launching and trading.
  3. Contour’s banks running real letters of credit on the network.

Until one of those happens, the video’s view is that Brazil’s banks benefit more from this arrangement than XDC holders do. The RWA.xyz figure for XDC and the network’s monthly transaction counts are the simplest numbers to keep checking.

Frequently asked questions

Can XDC reach $1?

According to the video, $1 would be about 30 times the price at recording. That means a network worth about $20 billion on circulating supply, or close to $38 billion counting all XDC. The video says $1 isn't impossible, but heavy network use doesn't automatically create demand for the coin.

What is the LiQI deal with XDC?

LiQI is a Brazilian fintech that tokenizes loans. In April 2025 it agreed to put $500 million of real world assets on XDC within 24 months and reached that in about 15 months. The two companies renewed for two more years with a target of $2 billion by 2028.

Why does RWA.xyz show so little on XDC?

The video says RWA.xyz showed about $6.8 million on XDC across two holders at the time of recording. It explains that LiQI's $835 million counts every token ever issued, including repaid loans, and that most of the Brazil deal tokens don't show up on the tracker.

Is XDC ISO 20022 compliant?

According to the video, XDC's documentation says the network is built to be compatible with ISO 20022 and can translate some bank messages. The video notes that ISO 20022 is a messaging standard and that nobody keeps an official list of approved coins.

Did MoneyGram start using XDC?

MoneyGram announced on October 19, 2026 that it had become an XDC validator, which means it stakes some XDC and helps run the network. According to the video, that does not mean MoneyGram moves money on XDC. MoneyGram also became a Solana validator earlier in the year.

From the video's captions, lightly formatted. Captions can mishear names and numbers, so check figures against the article above.

XDC is sitting around 3 cents right now, but some people are saying that buying it right now is like buying XRP back when XRP was at 5 cents. And recently, that comparison got its two biggest headlines yet because XDC's partner in Brazil hit its first $500 million target 9 months earlier and raised the gold to $2 billion. Then Robin Hood opened it up to millions of Americans and XDC jumped 11% in a single day. But just like it always seems to with good crypto news, it dropped right back down again. But when I dug into the reason why, I found something that doesn't really add up.

Brazil says $835 million has already gone through XDC, but the biggest tracker of tokenized money in the world can only find about $7 million of it. So, if you've been around crypto long enough, this story [music] feels pretty familiar because it sounds like the early days of the banking coins all over again with the ISO 222 projects with real banks, real money, and a price that hasn't even noticed yet. But that missing $828 million is the part that nobody's talking about right now because it decides whether XDC even gets anywhere near $1 and who actually gets paid if it does. And once you see where that money really went, you'll know exactly what to watch before the next big headline hits. So if you're feeling bullish, if you're feeling blessed, like this video and if you're going to become the first millionaire in your family tree, I want you to confirm it right now by subscribing to the YouTube channel and commenting amen below.

Also, we've been teaching our top day trading and swing trading strategies along with giving our clients our top altcoin picks for 2027 all the way to 2030 through the first link in the description below. So, if you want to see which altcoins we're watching over the next few years, then check that out after this video. Let's run it. [music] All right, bull runners. Welcome back to the channel. So XDC's got a $2 billion commitment out of Brazil, though nobody wired anybody $2 billion because it's the target for the next two years.

That headline is also why the comments jump straight to a dollar price predictions for XDC, which is about 30 times today's price. It would make the whole network worth around $20 billion, close to a quarter of what all the XRP in circulation is worth right now today. So the Brazil deal, it's not new [music] news either. You know, it was announced on September 9th, a full month before XDC's 11% jump on October 9th, and it only went viral again when XDC's own monthly update led with it the morning before the jump. And the company behind it is LiQI, a Brazilian fintech that turns loans into tokens.

In April of 2025, it agreed to put up $500 million of real world assets on XDC within 24 months, and it got there in about 15 months. And what they put on the network is a plain backbone of Brazilian credit. basically like company invoices waiting to be paid, payroll loans that come straight out of a worker's salary and also corporate bonds. The issuers include some of the biggest names in Brazilian finance and that's Banko BV, Banko ABC Brazil and the lender credas. And it works like a payday advance for a business where a company that's owed money in 90 days sells the IOU today for a little less cash and the token is the receipt that proves who owns it right now. So, Brazil is also one of the few big economies where the regulator is writing rules for this right now.

And it securities regulator, the CVM, set up a working group back in July to decide how blockchain securities get registered, held, and settled. And XDC says it's involved in the CVM's tokenization pilot. So, anybody who lived through crypto's SEC years knows how much that matters because once a regulator writes the rules, a pilot can turn into a real business. And Licky says around $835 million has now gone through XDC across 386 separate issues and the two companies renewed for two more years with the finish line moved to $2 billion by 2028 which leaves around $1.2 billion still to come. So, the Brazil story, it's real and it's running ahead of schedule, which makes that tracker even stranger because if $835 million went through XDC, you'd expect most of it to be sitting there where anyone can see it and verify it.

But the tracker is RWA.XYZ, which most of the industry uses to count tokenized assets. And it shows XDC with about $6.8 million spread across just two holders. And not a single dollar moved in the last 30 days. So, where's the rest of the money? Part of the answer is in how Licki's deals actually get paid.

You see, back in January, Infomoney, one of Brazil's biggest financial news sites, reported that Licki has launched its own stable coin tied to the Brazilian reel, one that can also run on XDC. So, the Brazil money is real and it does sit on XDC's main network, but most of those tokens don't show up on the tracker. So, Licky built its own digital version of the Brazilian reel to pay deals like these out. and the $835 million counts every token issued, including loans that may already be paid back. Now, the bull case here is that regulated Brazilian banks pick this network for real credit, which almost never happens in crypto. And that's more than most coins in the ISO 222 basket can show.

Now, that part's true, but a network can carry billions while its own coin barely gets touched because each transaction on XDC costs a tiny fraction of a cent. And you'll find the same gap in most of the XDC headlines going around right now on social media. Taurus, which is a Swiss firm that builds custody tech for banks, became a validator on XDC. And the videos turned that into major banks joining XDC when the banks are Taurus's clients. And none of them have said they use XDC.

And on October 15th, MoneyGram, the same Moneygram that used to work with Ripple, signed on as a validator as well, which means it stakes some XDC and helps run the network, not that it's money moved on XDC. and has done the same thing on Salana and a couple of other networks this year as well. Then Contour, the trade platform XDC owns, hosted a breakfast at SIBOS, the yearly conference run by Swift and some channels turned that into a Swift integration that doesn't even exist to get clicks and views. Then Techreum's 2X leverage XDC fund was first filed in January and cleared its SEC paperwork in April and 6 months later, it still hasn't launched or shown up on their own list of funds. And one crypto outlet reported that Robin Hood was paid integration fees to support XDC, which doesn't make the listing fake, but it's also worth knowing the next time someone calls the listing proof of demand here. So, XDC passes part of this check because the Brazil money, it's definitely real.

What XDC hasn't shown yet is real volume in the job it was actually built for, which is the paperwork behind global trade. and an $835 million headline next to a $7 million dashboard. It's exactly the kind of gap our research team looks at before a coin ever moves. And that's how my team flagged Ono at 37 cents back in July before it ran more than 60% into its September high. And it's also how we flagged HAR at around 9.6 the night before a 30% rally. So, let's get into that job because it's where XDC's whole pitch lives right now.

You see, when a coffee exporter in Brazil ships beans to a roaster in Europe, the payment is the easy part there. Before anybody moves, there's an invoice, which is a bill that proves who owns the cargo, and usually a letter of credit, which is the bank's promise to pay the seller once the papers show the beans were shipped. So, it's the same idea as the hold an online marketplace puts on your money until your package arrives, except the package is a shipping container and the hold is a bank signature. And a lot of it still moves as PDFs and corres. And that paperwork is a huge problem because the Asian Development Bank puts the gap between the trade finance businesses asked for and what banks actually approve at around $2.5 trillion.

It's also where a lot of big projects have died because the bankback blockchains that tried to fix it, W. trade and Marco Polo both collapsed in 2022 and 2023. So, payment networks like XRP were built to move the money across borders. XDC wants to carry the paperwork around it. So, in theory, one shipment could use both with the documents on one network and the payment on the other. So, that's the pitch there.

Nobody has shown it working at scale just yet. To get there, XDC's investment arm bought Contour about a year ago, a letter of credit network that launched in 2020, backed by HSBC, Standard Charter, you know, City, BNP, Pereibbus, and DBS. And Contour ran out of money and shut down back in 2023, then got revived the next year and cut by almost 90%. And XDC's own co-founder said most of its 30 plus bank agreements aren't active anymore with only a few like DBS still live. So, that's also where the ISO 222 label comes in because XDC gets marked as an ISO compliant coin right alongside a whole basket of so-called banker coins.

Now, ISO 222 is the shared messaging format banks now use to describe a payment. And the banks really did move to it. You see, XDC's own documentation says the network is built to be compatible with it and can translate a handful of those bank messages. And nobody keeps an official list of approved coins for XDC or anyone else because this is a messaging standard. It's not that these coins are compliant.

So speaking the bank's language can get XDC in the door, but it doesn't make anybody buy the coin. And that's the real problem with the $1 price target. XDC trades around $34 right now. It's probably lower by the time you're watching this video. Its all-time high is about 19 from August of 2021.

So even getting back to that old high is about a 6x from here. And the $20 billion from earlier only counts the 20 billion or so XDC the big trackers call circulation. A number that Coin Gecko and Coin Market Cap can't even agree on. And if you count every XDC that exists, about 38 billion. So $1 means a network worth close to $ 38 billion.

None of that makes $1 impossible here. But XC would have to grow about 30 times while the business it's famous for mostly runs in somebody else's currency. And because a network can carry a lot of money without its coin going up since an invoice that's tokenized on XDC isn't [music] XDC, it's just riding on it. And Bitwise's chief investment officer said back in August that the market is starting to price coins on something else entirely now. And you can see that in XDC's own numbers because in September, the network set a new record of about 41 million transactions, up from about 27.7 million in July [music] with October on pace to beat it.

And it passed 1 billion since it launched. But at a fraction of a cent each, even a record month like that barely needs anybody to buy the coin. So, if you've been in crypto for a while, you already know this one because what moves a coin over time is how many people need to hold it, not how many headlines it gets. So, XDC is a demand bet like any other coin. It's not a usage bet right now.

And the good news is you can actually watch for what would change that. If Licky's deals start settling in XRP itself if that Techrium fund actually starts trading or if Contours banks start running real letters of credit on the network, the coin gets a reason to be bought. Until one of those happens, Brazil's banks are getting a lot more out of this than XDC holders are. That's for sure. So, the real question if you're thinking about getting into XDC or buying any of this coin is how to own a piece of this without betting money you need on that gap closing.

You see, a lot of us came up believing the move was to find the next bank coin early, buy a big bag of it and just hold and wait and then once the ISO standard goes live, all these coins benefit. And a lot of people did well that way in 2017. So, it does make sense that people still believe it today because that narrative is still in their mind. But this market rewards coins that people actually need to hold. And a low price per coin doesn't tell you anything about that.

It's all psychology. So, this channel has covered most of the coins in the ISO 222 basket by now. And the ones that held up were the coins people actually needed to buy, whatever the price predictions or the headlines were saying. And the people who did best owned several of them in sizes they could live with. And they also diversified across other narratives.

They didn't just bet all on the ISO narrative because putting everything not only into one narrative but to one coin and waiting is how people get hurt in this market. So the plan has to change with the market changing. You have to be flexible. You can't be [music] rigid. You know, the key with business is about being able to adapt with the changing tides, right?

Because business doesn't stay the same. the markets don't stay the same. 2017 was not 2021. 2021 was not 2025. And 2025 won't be 2030. Right now, that means building slowly while prices are quiet and the headlines are bigger than the usage and the price predictions are crazy.

And keeping cash ready for the days the market overreacts in a negative direction. And then understanding which projects to diversify into. Like I said at the beginning of this video, if you want our top altcoin picks, I've left a link below. You can click that right now and you get access to that immediately. So if something like XDC, you know, fits for your portfolio, well, it goes in as a small position sized before you buy next to the coins in the other lanes in the other narratives where money rotates too.

You know, like payments, tokenization, real world assets, artificial intelligence, you name it, the bigger networks. Obviously, this is not financial advice, but the smartest investors, they buy in slowly. They dollar cost average on red days instead of on the days Robin Hood starts trending the project or everyone starts talking about it, and they write down their exit plan before they ever even enter. And once XDC finally gets a real reason to be bought, then that's the kind of moment you want to see coming. That's not the moment that you start buying.

And seeing those moments early is exactly what my research team does every single day inside of our private intelligence network. For example, back in January of 2025, my team flagged Hyperlid, a new highcap gem at about $26. Then Hyperlid ran over $90 and it's been one of the strongest performers over the past few months. And our members have been getting results like Albert who's up over $6,500 on his Near Protocol position. And one member told us they were full of fear before they joined.

And a month later, they were holding a coin. They've gone up 300%. Now, obviously, these results aren't typical. I'm not making any guarantees for you, but they're real and they're just examples of what our members are achieving all the time. Now, obviously, some members do lose money if they don't pay attention, if they go all in on one coin, if they commit the cardinal sins of crypto investing.

So, if you want to see how to do this the right way and you want to get access to my research team's altcoin pick sheet that stays updated every single week, plus live calls on what's happening with the market, one-on-one support, that way, the next time a coin like XDC gets its own $2 billion headline, you already know what the dashboard says and what size you hold it at in your portfolio. You know when you're taking profit, you know where your take profit is, your your stop loss is set because every single month, we open up the doors to a certain amount of clients that we can take on because my team's limited. We're not going to outsource your future to a sketchy call center here. You're working with people that have been in the industry for the past decade. And so, we only take on a small portion of members.

So, when you click the link below, you watch the video, you fill out a short form, it takes about a minute, you book a free strategy call with an expert on my team. If the calendar is full, that means we're full right now. We're not taking any more clients. If it's open, then you can have a short conversation and you'll see if our program is the right fit for you. So, check that out.

I know you're going to love it. As always, subscribe to the channel for more. Let me know your thoughts. You guys hold XDC? Drop your top altcoin picks in the comments below if you want us to review them and dive deep into them in the next video.
